Our National Office President - William Sherman Wilcott, Jr.

Hello Wilcots Family. You have entrusted me to serve as your National President since 1995. I have truly been blessed through this service. I will begin by thanking the late Elvis Wilcots, our first National President, for his years of service, his wisdom, guidance, encouragement and example of great leadership. He was also the greatest visionary and motivator for the birth of the Wilcots Grand Reunion. Never forget him and his inalienable commitment to this family I also give thanks to all of you for your continued support and prayers. The Wilcots Grand Reunion inception was July 12, 1977. Without the foresight of Our three founders, Elvis Wilcots, William S. Wilcott, Sr., and Dorothy Crittendon, the Wilcots Grand Reunion would not be a reality today. We owe them all a great deed of thanks for taking on such a monumental endeavor. I am still amazed by what they accomplished with such a limited amount of resources. We must work diligently to keep the torch burning and pass it on to our younger generations. In this age of society’s declining family values and family structure, it is imperative that we, The Wilcots, do not stumble into that pitfall. We must continue to teach, preach and display the importance of family faith unity and strength. In order for this family to continue enjoying these great gatherings, we must all be impelled to tell the Wilcots story and history to all of our children and young family members everywhere
